Gary, Indiana. DCS wall memo. Star 2014. House later demolished. Caseworker did not recant.

1. Public Record
3860 Carolina Street, Gary, Indiana. Latoya Ammons, three children. From 2011 the household reports footsteps, shadows, a voice, a boy who walks backward up a wall in front of a caseworker, a hospital visit that puts "demonic" into a medical chart and then into a national paper. Department of Child Services staff write memos. A priest is called. Police come and do not take an entity away. The family leave. The landlord is left with a house nobody wants to rent.
January 2014 the Indianapolis Star, Marisa Kwiatkowski, puts the caseworker's wall on page one. Cable follows. Zak Bagans later buys the house, makes a film, and has it torn down. Critics call the children coached and the mother a user of a story. The caseworker does not recant the wall. The hospital chart does not un-write itself. No charge names a demon. No charge names a fraud that a court finished.
The lot after demolition is the last official object.

4. Official Narrative
DCS and hospital paper exist. Official narrative is a family crisis with paranormal claims attached. No conviction either way.
5. Witness Layer
Latoya Ammons. The children. The DCS worker. Hospital staff. Police. Kwiatkowski. Bagans as the man who bought the ending.
6. Recovery Logistics
Memos. A chart. A demolished frame. No object a lab signed as unknown.
7. Assessment
A casework file. Keep the wall in a professional's sentence, not in a film still. Keep the demolition so later pilgrims do not pretend the rooms are standing. Do not write Bagans as a witness to 2011. Do not write the mother as finished because cable was cruel. A chart with that word on it is a fact of paperwork. It is not a proof of a demon.
8. Materials & Remains
Star 2014. DCS paper as reported. The empty lot.
9. Key Personnel

11. Current Archive Status
Status: Gary 2011-14. DCS wall memo. Star 2014. House demolished.
Confidence: High that professionals wrote of a wall-walking child and that the house was later torn down. Low that a demon is demonstrated. Low that every televised detail matches the first memos.
Filing note
A rented house on Carolina Street, a caseworker, a wall, a chart that used a word hospitals do not like, a newspaper in Indianapolis, a television buyer, a lot where the rooms used to be.
The caseworker does not recant the wall. That sentence is the file. Everything after is a camera standing where the plaster was.
