1. Public Record
Scole, Norfolk, 1993 to 1998. Robin and Sandra Foy, a rented farmhouse, a cellar about seventeen by twelve. Six sitters in the end. Darkness. Luminous wristbands when visitors came. A table, crystals, perspex, hanging bells, unopened film. A control who called himself Manu. Lights first: white, sometimes red or green, fast in the black, entering glass, ringing bells, answering a hand. Robin Foy later listed 180 dated manifestations. The group printed The Spiritual Scientist. SPR investigators sat, among them Montague Keen, David Fontana, Arthur Ellison. They left impressed by the lights and unhappy about the dark.
Critics wanted infrared and a locked protocol the cellar did not give. The sittings stopped in 1998. The films and the lights remain the argument. No public engine was pulled from under the table.
2. Date of Incident
Cellar from 1993. Public notice late 1994. End 1998.
3. Location
Scole, Norfolk. Approximate 52°22 N 001°02 E.
4. Official Narrative
No court. Official narrative is a private experiment with visiting researchers and a dark-room limit.
5. Witness Layer
The Foys. The six. Keen, Fontana, Ellison. Manu as the name in the dark.
Complete darkness.
6. Recovery Logistics
Session notes. Claimed film. No captured light-source the house produced.
7. Assessment
A cellar-and-notebook file. Keep the wristbands. Keep the SPR names. Darkness is not automatically fraud and it is not automatically proof. 180 items in a list is a method. It is also a pile. Do not sell Scole as Enfield. Different decade, different room, lights instead of a voice.
8. Materials & Remains
Foy's Witnessing the Impossible. SPR comments. Cellar gone as a working room.
9. Key Personnel
Robin and Sandra Foy : The cellar.
Montague Keen : Visiting note.
David Fontana : Visiting note.
10. Aftermath
The sittings ended. The argument did not. Physical mediumship used Scole as a late case.
11. Current Archive Status
Status: Norfolk cellar, 1993-98. Lights in the dark. SPR visits. No public source pulled.
Confidence: High that sittings ran in that cellar for five years. High that visitors described lights. Low that a discarnate team has been shown. Low that darkness plus wristbands equals a closed test.
Filing note
A rented farm, a cellar, six people, luminous bands, a name at the door of the dark, lights that hit bells and glass, notebooks dated into the hundreds, researchers who liked the lights and hated the black. It stopped in 1998.
Complete darkness. Not atmosphere. The one condition every critic asked them to give up and the one they would not.
