1. Public Record

Cabo Rojo, southwest Puerto Rico, 1980s cluster. Fishermen and coastal people report lights and objects that come off the water the way Aguadilla's later tape will want to. Lajas Valley sits in the same conversation: a low rectangle or cigar, cattle talk, a night that belongs to the southwest corner rather than San Juan. Jorge Martín and other island researchers keep the names. Official paper is thin. The coast is not.

This folder already holds Aguadilla 2013 as a sensor night. Cabo Rojo is the earlier human coast. Do not weld them into one craft. Do weld them into one shoreline that keeps producing the same sentence: something low, something wet, something the tower or the boat did not schedule.

A salt and mangrove corner. Boats. Lights that prefer the water.

2. Date of Incident

Principal cluster 1980s, with later nights using the same coast.

3. Location

Cabo Rojo and Lajas, Puerto Rico. Approximate 18°05 N 067°09 W.

4. Official Narrative

No clean identification. Official narrative is thin. Island press and researchers carry the file.

5. Witness Layer

Fishermen and valley residents. Jorge Martín as compiler. Aguadilla as a later sensor cousin, not as these witnesses.

6. Recovery Logistics

Statements and island literature. No object on a public dock.

7. Assessment

A coast that keeps saying water is worth a page even without a DHC-8. Cattle in Lajas are the inland weather. They may be the same night wearing fields. They may be a valley talking after the boats talked. Both can be written.

This folder files Cabo Rojo as the human preamble to the 2013 tape. Keep the fishermen first. Keep the sensor night on its own date. The island does not owe us one object that explains thirty years.

8. Materials & Remains

Island case notes. No hardware.

9. Key Personnel

Cabo Rojo / Lajas witnesses : The coast and the valley.

Jorge Martín : Compiler.

10. Aftermath

The southwest corner keeps its reputation. Aguadilla later gives the coast a tape. The boats keep going out.

11. Current Archive Status

Status: 1980s coast. Lights off water. No dock object.

Confidence: High that southwest Puerto Rico produced a 1980s cluster of low lights and objects near water. Low that any one is typed. Low that 2013 is the same object.

Filing note

A mangrove corner, fishermen looking at their own water, a valley with cattle talk, island papers instead of a ministry tray, a 2013 tape that later made the same coast famous for a camera.

The boats were first. The sensor was late. That order matters.
